I started now from scratch.
Half a year ago, I successfully ended my joblessness (and possibly my productivity here on deviantart... my busiest month being May or March 2012).
So I got to a preparement... where kids are sent that couldn't have gotten a job or job-training before summer. It started out with a test in which they'd figure in what category we'd best fit. The subjects were 'Office', 'Trade' and 'Cuisine/Hotel' - three days for each.
I ended up being best in Cuisine/Hotel - especially with cooking and stuff.
So I did that for reals during September and October... like going to school, with also job-school (theoretical stuff) in addition to that.
Usual work-day there was: Preparing breakfast, selling breakfast throughout the building (also to other sections, they also had florists, hairdressers and others there who would do such a training). After that then buying more groceries for the afternoon... on the afternoon we'd usually sell something like cake, but also potatoe salade with meatballs and other self-made things. Everything we sold was self-made. Then we would, to end the day, prepare for the breakfast next morning.
Job-school was two times a week, wednesday and friday.

Anyways, I always kept cleaning and working my ass off on this. I stood out by being the best in the class... And it paid off!
On 12th of November I changed from the preparement to an actual job-training with payment and the such :D (okay, the preparement was also with payment, but it was 100 bucks less than what I get now)
I was at an agency, so I didn't really ... get any 'education' there. No new recipes, no training in skills. But they sent me to school, the same job-school I was before with the preparement but a different class of course - with other chefs in training (some coming from popular hotels).
I learnt... alot of theoretical stuff there. Like, what carbohydrate's are made of, how they are produced and where they are and how the human body deals with them.
Then, a week before the job-school would end (it's block-schooling, 1 month of school, then 2 months of hotel/restaurant.. where-ever we have a contract with or get to work at), the agency I was having the contract with told me that they might have something... I got to work there for testing and... it was really drenching me (School = friday starts for me at 6 a.m.; then at the restaurant, working until 12 p.m., and then saturday again 3 p.m. - 12 p.m.)

But appearantly it worked out. The following week the chef of the restaurant phoned me and said he wanted to try it with me.
The woman from the agency... didn't contact me as much. She was rather absent (she's been like that ever since! I haven't been able to talk to her ever since November 29th). I managed to start at the restaurant at december 10th... successfully.
In the beginning, it was rather harsh. The chef was constantly shouting at me and accusing me of things I wasn't responsible for. I was crying every day, not wanting to go.. but then I had a longer talk with the (girlfriend of the chef) owner of the restaurant, and after that, everything went smoothely, of which I am very happy for!
When I work at the kitchen I feel welcomed, everyone is nice to me, I get things taught (even more complicated things), but I also can talk about private stuff... like movies or music.
Then there was this guy... 4 years younger, but graduated and in the 2nd (of three) training level and oh so much better than me. He was completely full of himself...but his problems were that he was not thinking, never thinking, just reacting and jumping through the kitchen. He broke plates and did thinks wrongly... and many other unthinkable things. And then he blamed me (but certainly I cannot think and see for two people. Especially for an idiot like him).
In the end, the chef was too annoyed of him and threw him out of the restaurant.
... btw, it's a french high class gourmet restaurant C: So it's the best thing that could happen to me! I'm going to be one of the best chefs ever!
I also thought that when the fail-guy disappears it all falls onto me... it's been over 5 days now without him and I don't sense any problems. With the christmas- and the new year business now gone it's going to be much easier also, so maybe I get to have more time soon >.< Hopefully!
